We offer two staff secure programs for youth with abuse reactive behaviors ages (12 to16) and (16 to 21).
We offer a therapeutic environment which enables youth to identify triggers, examine past trauma and develop an individual abuse cycle which encourages family repair even when reunification with family is not always possible. We are constantly striving to help locate and engage other support and/or therapeutic foster care so that the youth can be transitioned as soon as they are not at a high risk to re-offend. Residents attend public or behavioral schools and are encouraged to be out in the community with jobs/recreation/school with an emphasis on individualized safety plans.
We work closely with the probation department in our programs for youth with abuse reactive behaviors. We also coordinate with staff at CPC (Counseling Psychotherapy Center) who are experts in adolescent abuse reactive behavior to provide risk-assessment and provide twice-weekly intensive group and individual sexual abuse-reactive treatment.
